Survey requirement
We will ask survey report regard below cargo:
1. Gas Lighters
2. Organic peroxides
3. Dangerous cargo with Packing Group I
4. Dangerous cargo request package to be hermetically sealed
If the DG cargo are asked for a cargo stuffing survey before final acceptance, would ask client to sign the "LOI about Releasing Empty Before Shipment Is Accepted” (click here to download the blank sheet) then our depot staff would release the empty container to client afterwards.
The survey company must be recognized by AQSIQ. Click here with link to AQSIQ website for checking licensed survey company.
Here is our general requirements for DG cargo stuffing survey:
Part 1. General Instructions
stating under whose appointment, when and where the survey company attend the cargo survey.
Part 2. Cargo description
which include but not limited: B/L (booking) number, vessel / voyage, POL, POD, F.dest, volume of the container, container list with seal number, Class, UN, Packing Group, G/N weight, Net Explosive Mass (for fireworks) of each container.
Part 3. Surveyor attending and findings
3-1. container condition before stuffing (are them internally empty, clean, dry and considered in a cargo worthy condition to receive the intended goods for shipment?),
3-2. cargo condition before stuffing, (please take a note to this, are all packages well kept before container stuffing?)
3-3. whole cargo stuffing process, and also watch and record the UN packing Mark for each kind of cartons like bellows:

3-4. also surveyor should check and record the certificate number of the packing inspection certificate by CIQ bureau.
Part 4. Stuffing, stowage and securing of the container
4-1. the weather condition of stuffing day
4-2. description of by what kind of method (s), all the packages well stuffed, stowed and secured in the container.
4-3. descriptions of placard of DG label in each packages and container outsides.
Part 5. Attachments with essential photos
Photo-1: the cargo stowage condition in warehouse (before stuffing)
Photo-2: the label and UN packing mark and all DG information on packages, some more photos would be inserted here with a close up picture to show each UN packing code, PSN, Class, UN number. etc, also with package sealing condition.
Photo-3: condition of the empty container prior stuffing
Photo-4 to 6, three photos to show the container with 25%, 50%, 75% stuffing.
Photo-7. picture to show the cargo 100% stuffing and the method of security for prevent from carton fall out when the container door open and prevent the damage of carton from cracked by closing of container door.
Photo-8. the condition of the container's door closing with sound seal.
Photo-9 and 10, two pictures to show container well placarded with 4 outsides. one additional picture would also inserted here with a close shoot to the DG placard.
for Gas Lighters flammable gas leakage test, additional photos needed:
photo-11. Radom selection of cargo, test of gas leakage
photo-12. 24-36 hours after container sealing, test of gas leakage
