1.Information requirement on Bill of Lading·Consignee/Notify must be a company with an address in Venezuela
·Full style information of consignee and/or notify party which include address, telephone, fax, city, and contact person
Bank
As consignee: name of the bank and city
As Notify Party: full information which include name, address, city, state or province, zip code or post code, phone number and fax number
Individual or a company
As consignee: name of individual or name of company, address at Venezuela, city , telephone number and fax number
As Notify Party: full information which include name, address, city, state or province, zip code or postal code, phone number and fax number
·Consignee is "TO THE ORDER", can not be printed/released at third party agency, because must be endorse it by Shipper. The FULL style of a VENEZUELAN NOTIFY PARTY is needed.
·Full description of cargo. General description such as general merchandise, department goods, F.A.K are not allowed
·Clear type of packages and quantities
·Fully freight with clear breakdown of charges in US Dollars or Euros for all Bill of Lading and Manifest
·‘ Freight as per agreement’ are acceptable by Customs on BL,but never leave B/L ‘unfreighted’ 2.Documentation data submission to Customs and Port Authorities
·Cargo information complete electronic transmission 48 hours before vessel arrival
·Undeclared and over landed cargo ( eg. non documented or wrongly documented cargo, without description, wrong weight, general description etc.) is considered as smuggling and subject to huge fine from 2-7 times of the merchandise value, and even put into jail from 2 to 4 years 3.Manifest Correction/Correction notes
·Apply the same deadline and condition as documentation data transmission
·Huge fine applies per each correction addition of documents after transmitted to Customs
·Venezuela Agency will process any correction ONLY after receiving confirmation from POL about taking full responsibility of fines
·LOI from shipper if shipper’s mistake for data correction. LOI format must be requested and approved by CSAV Documentation 4.Freight Collection
·Only prepaid condition is acceptable, which include any surcharge 5.Cargo to be discharge at xxx terminal:
·Not allow shippers to put on BL any terminal as final destination as responsibility and cost of this transfer will be by the Line.
·Only accept the clause ‘ cargo with final destination xxx terminal (name of terminal) on Consignee account and risk(Carga para ser entregada en el terminal XXXXX por cuenta y riesgo del consignatario) 6.Seals
·Container being discharged in Venezuela port must have Seal
·Delay and Inspection by Customs when discrepant seal number between BL and manifest for cargo discharged. 7.Shipment Acceptance
·Transshipment Cargoes

Complete cargo information electronic transmission 48 hours before vessel arrival
All transshipment and cabotage a minimum of 5 days between each vessel is needed to process cargo documentation with Customs
·Short landed cargo
permitted by the Customs authorities. Cargo documented to Customs and not discharged, will be considered as discharged in other place 8.Temporary admittance of Containers
·90 days from the containers arrived to territory
·Fines and seizure are applied after this period of time 9.Logimar, Venezuela agent
·Cannot be consider as Consignee or Notify party
·Can only be consigned for empty container 10.Customs working time in Venezuela
·Monday to Friday office time (INS047/2006)
